THE GREEN MATERIAL
Recycled aluminium has properties equivalent to primary aluminium and can be used in all consumer products. It has been defined a green material precisely because of its long life and the fact that it can be 100% recycled without losing quality.
THE SUSTAINABLE MATERIAL FROM A THOUSAND QUALITIES
Its recovery and recycling not only avoids the extraction of bauxite, but also saves 95% of the energy required to produce it from the raw material. To make 1kg of aluminium from bauxite requires 14kWh, while to make kg of recycled aluminium requires only 0.7 kWh of energy.
It is an extraordinarily strong material with high anti-corrosion properties and low maintenance requirements. These characteristics have made it the most sought-after material in the construction industry, where aluminium has quickly become the most environmentally friendly, most durable, strongest and lightest solution compared to traditional materials.
ECOAL PRODUCTION
Ecoal billets are produced using 85% scrap, with CO2 emissions of less than 0.25 kg (*)/kg AL produced. Ecoal billets have a high-performance chemical composition, suitable for all areas of aluminium extrusion applications.
RECYCLED ALUMINIUM IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY
The possibility to recycle it indefinitely without ever losing quality, combined with the fact that the recycling process requires only 5% of the energy originally used for production, thus greatly reducing CO2 emissions, makes aluminium a material of the highest quality from an ecological point of view as well.
Taking advantage of the most advanced separation technologies at our disposal, we can guarantee recycled aluminium of the highest standard, even from alloys; an aluminium alloy is in fact a mixture of aluminium and one or more metals that allow the characteristics of the aluminium itself to be modified.
